Backup file store to S3 with reporting
Post Body

Hi r/sysadmin!

I am looking for software that will backup a local file store (on a NAS, so not image-based backups) to S3 with some reporting/verification.

Currently, I am relying on my Netgear NAS to do a one way sync to S3, which works, but is a manual process to verify. It offers no reporting, I simply check a few new files that I know have been added to the store, and then pick 5 files at random and check them to verify integrity.

Does anyone do this in their business? If so, how do you do it?
