Fellow Sysadmins... I'm looking for some suggestions on a backup solution to replace our EVault (aka Seagate) software. We've been running 3 vaults in a 1:1 configuration for around 4 years now, it gets the job done, but it's starting to seem a little dated. Oh and the cost seems to be a little crazy too, when we're using our own hardware for the vaults and not theirs.
I loved their old Bare Metal backup/restore but it seems to have really changed with version 2.0 , no more simple plug in the USB/CD and restore.
I'm a smaller MSP and have both physical and virtual machines being backed up, but I'd like to be able to manage them from a (wait for it..) Single Pane/Pain of Glass if possible, so some of the purely virtual options are out of play for me.
Any suggestions? Or am I crazy for even thinking about trying to get rid of what we have?
