Hello guys, I am part of a team of modders developing a mod for HOI4 centered around the Syrian Civil War and the wider Middle East. We have made quite a bit of progress, with our 4th dev diary being released yesterday, and you can check out our progress there.

We are currently in need of researchers for the mod, so that we can include in depth detail, infomation and effects that may not be avaliable online, or that would be very hard to find, especially in English. We thought there would be no better place than r/syriancivilwar, as it is filled with people who are very knowledgeable about the conflict, the Middle East, its constituent nations, factions and groups, and the wider effects of the a number of events on the situation in Syria, Iraq, Lebanon and the like.

Thus, we are asking to see if anyone would be interested in joining our team to help us develop this mod, with high quality and as accurate as can be. The things needed to research can be anything related to the region, for example prominent politicians of Syria or DFNS(plus information about them), troop and equipment numbers, the political, economic and military aspirations of certain groups, etc etc. You would also help us to decide about things to include in the mod, and how to include them, for example something we are currently unsure of is how to accurately implement Hezbollah.
