I'm working up to doing some live sets. Currently I use an electribe 2 sampler for drums some synth parts, but for my main bass line / some leads, I want to have an analog synth. Using my electribe to sequence my volca bass sounds great, but I want something that can configure all the knobs using program change messages.
I'm doing synth punk, so I'm playing guitar and changing the patterns / patches using a FCB1010 foot controller (10 foot pedals that send midi two expression pedals that send CC).
At the moment I have a mininova, which is a heaps powerful synthesizer, and it's probably what I'm going to build my rig around, but I was wondering if there are any good small analog synth modules that have full CC as well as patch memory?
At the moment I can only think of the moog minitaur. Which I'd like, but they're hard to find in New Zealand. Also, the C5 top note limitation means I can't do screaming leads on them.
I have a volca bass and volca keys. The keys has CC control, but no program change support. I love the meeblip triode, but that doesn't have program change either? Is there something obvious I'm missing? The mininova is quite big, and I'd like to have something smaller, that's why I'm not really considering the monologue.
