After re-watching Philippines (one of my favorite seasons), most of the challenges i enjoyed. (water challenges - yay).

But one challenge stood out.

In Episode 4 when Matsing only had Russell, Malcolm and Denise remaining. It was do or die for Matsing and they knew it. The challenge was where they had to carry 2 pots over their shoulders through an obstacle and then once all 3 members had done so, use something that looks like a wrecking ball to smash the pots that were placed on stands. Tandang(yellow) was ahead most of the challenge and finished with time to spare at the end. Matsing got through the obstacle 2nd and Kalabaw(red) were behind. Malcolm had a head start over Jeff Kent, and Jeff started to catch him. It ended up with only 1 pot left and Malcolm missed it twice and Kent narrowly got it on the 2nd attempt.

The music, Jeff's commentary, cutting the camera to Jeff and seeing how excited he was looking from Kalabaw to Matsing and knowing how desperate Matsing was (Russell's pot smashing and questioning God afterwards) made for a great tv challenge.

It wasn't the best challenge in terms of skill, strength, ability. Just made for great TV
