Ryze - Seraphs Embrace or Muramana

I got into this argument with some people that I play with regularly and wanted to see what the community here thought about it. Seraphs Embrace is what they think you build on Ryze because its AP. My argument is that Muramana adds about 180-200 damage to each of your abilities PLUS your auto-attacks while seraphs gives you a slight bump plus the shield. I can see the argument for SE but it seems to me that, if your not getting destroyed, you would want the extra damage from toggling Muramana.

I looked at probuilds.net and none of the pro's are building Muramana. Am I wrong or just missing something?
