Looking for a new Dark Fantasy series

As some context, I really love both the dresden files and the Alex verus series.
I also enjoyed the ender's shadow series, but not the main ender's series so much. The hobbit was my favorite book for a while, and when I was younger, Tamora Pierce was my jam.
As an additional data point, I really enjoyed the Terry Pratchett books in which Death played a major role.
