Hello! I've been wanting to read horror books lately as I'm big into horror, as a genre, in general. However, when looking for some on Google or in libraries I often find myself being recommended thrillers which is really not my thing, especially investigation books. I'm not very into overly long with not much action horror books either (looking at you, Stephen King, Carrie was fun, Misery, Gerlad's Game and the likes were sooo looong)
I don't mind if it's fantasy horror (monsters, lovecraftians, ghosts, etc.) or "real-life" based with survival games or serial killer stories. I don't mind it being extremely gory/explicit either. I haven't read any book I would consider horror as an adult, but I can think of the Goosebumps series I was really into as a child.
Bonus point if it's Spanish as I need to practise it (very much not mandatory)
Thank you so much!
