Hey all, I just kinda wanted to get people's thoughts and opinions. So I've been on seeking for about a year, I'm 38, UK based. I've met some really nice women and had some great experiences. Also had some less fun experiences too but nothing awful.

Now my concern is a few things, first of all, while I've always been a high earner compared to the average UK salary I've only just become much more successful in the last year (my businesses should hit £10mil by end of 2024).

The problem (is it a problem?) is that I still pay myself a very average UK salary, I own a very modest house, I drive a car worth less than £2k, etc. I don't give a shit about fancy cars, a big house, Rolexes, nice clothes, I don't take fancy holidays, etc. I'm simply not materially minded at all.

At the same time, I'm not tight with my money, I will indiscriminately spend on food (I love restaurants), ill happily give money to those in my life and don't expect it back. I bonus my employees more than I need to cuz they're good people. If I travel for business meetings I'll get a nice hotel if I'm taking someone with me, etc.

If you were to look at me on the street you'd think I worked a minimum wage job based on how I dress, the car I drive and the house I live in.

Even before joining seeking I've financially supported every women I've ever been with, simply because I've always been the higher earner and I'm a bit traditional in the sense I think the man should provide and pay for things. So I'm very comfortable with it.

Am I being unrealistic in using seeking as a dating site for women looking for successful men to actually have real relationships and rejecting formal agreements of allowances and of course sex workers looking for ppm? Especially when I don't live an extravagant lifestyle and have no desire to.
