I'm going to go over a few different topics. Today I'm not getting into the nitty gritty details of each of these but I'd like to clear up the haze. Despite my own financial chaos, I actually love learning about these things.
Starting with one of the MOST confusing topics:
Passive Income
You will hear a lot of mumbo jumbo from people selling courses, rich men, etc. The idea behind passive income seems clear but the problem majority of people have is finding said passive income.
The most common misconception with passive income is that it is easy. Another one I see floating around is that you need to be born into wealth to gain access to it. Both are incorrect, respectfully.
Passive income is "easy" money after it is already established. To give you an idea of what I mean: stripping is often said to be easy money. You and I know that isn't true. Once you have established yourself as a dancer and have profitable regulars then it becomes easier. Passive income is similar in some ways.
Realistically you're going to need THREE things to gain a passive income source:
- Time
- Money
- Skills
There's a variety of options for building this. From selling print on demand goods to rental properties. That being said, the less of one thing you have, the more of another you will need. If you are short on money you better believe you will need more time and skills/resources to make it happen. The more money you have available, the less time or skills you might need depending on the complexity of the project.
You have to be willing to put in a certain amount of effort in the beginning for the income to eventually become passive. The goal is for your money to make you money. Some passive sources of income take little to no effort AFTER you're established (e.g. selling printables) while others have much higher possibilities for income but might need more effort to run (e.g. air bnb).
So let's be clear: there is no "Free Easy Money". Passive income is all about strategizing and understanding that you will work harder now to play harder later. It is not some mystical, unreachable fantasy. You just have to identify WHAT you can do or are willing to do, WHY your clients need it, and then put the effort in.
Another very easily confuzzled topic: Side Hustles
God if I hear one more "just drop ship!" I will eat a brick wall. Absolutely not. Side hustles are a fucking wonderful tool if you know how to use them. That being said they are NOT passive income like a lot of these idiots will proclaim.
A side hustle is typically an active form of income just like stripping is. You are selling skills, services and time in exchange for money. Glad we cleared that up.
As a stripper you should start looking to identify what your best skills are in and outside of the club. Then narrow things down from there. Would you like another sex work side hustle such as only fans, sexting, or phone sex? Or would you like something else?
Some easy things right off the top of my head include:
- Cleaning homes
- Topless maid
- Dog walking / Pet sitting
- House sitting
- Donating plasma
- Virtual assisting
- Fivver
- Baking
- Selling Plates
- Making custom stripper bags
- Customizing pleasers
There are plenty of things out there you can do for extra cash that just might not be very "obvious" to your eyes. So give it some thought and look into it. As a stripper you have the world in the palm of your hands, even if you're in a tight financial spot now, it can get better.
If there are a few things I recommend to absolutely everyone who wants to do ANY form of passive income or side hustling: LEARN. The lazier you are the less chance you have to succeed.
