Hi ladies,
I am curious as to what supplements you take regularly for self-care... or what your self-care routine consists of. Thank you xoxo
I try to avoid most supplements and instead focus on getting them in through food / other means whenever possible. However! ꒰ᐢ. .ᐢ꒱₊˚⊹
♡₊˚ Electrolyte Mix such as IV hydration or propel are great on days you work. Especially if you drink at all. We sweat a lot and electrolyte and fluid balance is very important for our bodies to maintain.
♡₊˚ Sleepy Time Tea Contains chamomile and spearmint which helped with anxiety and stress relief. Wonderful way to ease the body into sleep.
♡₊˚ Yogurt Helps keep the gut flora thriving by providing healthy bacteria. So it’s great for those with tummy issues like gas and bloating.
♡₊˚ Fiber Great for digestion and your gut, again. You can get this in through supplementation or food.
♡₊˚ Ginseng, Ginger, Turmeric Considered a holy grail trio by me. Ginger is what I refer to as “warming”. Soothes nausea. Ginseng is highly regarded in places like South Korea for its ability to help with mental clarity and energy levels. Turmeric is well, turmeric. Potentially anti-inflammatory.
Those are my top things that I enjoy having in my routine when possible. When I can I really focus on getting nutrients and vitamins in through food. I do this with on the go snacks full of fruit and such ! I do add in an omega 3 oil here and there.
PLEASE be aware of supplements you use There are a lot of scams I see regarding things to apply to your vagina to “make it smell/taste like fruit” (or whatever else), syrups to “make your boobs bigger and get rid of hip dips” etc. They are ALL fake. Be careful
My self care routine has changed over time and is currently being overhauled.
