So you want to make more.

Every single one of us does. This industry shows you what disposable income means. $200 nights feel like shit once you get to a certain point. That’s just the reality. I’m warning you now, if you’re lazy and don’t want to work this will not be the post for you.

Practice being grateful for what you make every time you leave in the positive / the green. That will make you feel much more at peace with this kind of job. If you have a negative mindset around the lower income nights it often creates a.. almost mania effect. Depressive lows, extreme highs. You make $100 one night and then $800 the next. It’s a cycle and you need to get out of it.

Step two is practicing discipline. There’s a variety of ways to do this. I find the more disciplined I am the more I make— and I work in a notoriously annoying area. Some examples of discipline in stripping : - leaving your phone in your locker while you work. Decreases distraction and forces you to find another way to be entertained - set a max amount of alcohol per night and stick to it. - set a certain amount of customers you have to talk to before you’re allowed to go in the back / be bored / wonder around. It’s not often I get rejected by 5 customers in a row. - Put money away after EVERY single shift. Don’t touch it. Get a $5k savings binder and start with $1. Forces you to keep some amount of an emergency fund at all times

Next is education and experience. You need to learn how to be you . Only you. There is only one you. My boyfriend told me something similar the night we met, that if there’s something that will set you apart: USE IT.

Start educating yourself in a variety of different topics, languages, etc. This broadens your horizons. A great example: if you know a large amount of clients in your area play golf, learn a few things about golf. Now those clients are much more inclined to spend because you have something in common.

When you are making sales you have to assume the sale. You are marketing yourself in the strip club. Finding out what kind of sales you thrive at, how to maximize that profit etc is going to be your best bet. I skimmed some of the “art of seduction” which I at one point used as a guide for personas I acted as. I studied the way Marilyn Monroe talked, walked, looked at people and mimicked it. Any time I use that technique (which isn’t too often honestly) I thrive. Don’t flinch when you mention money, or stutter, or skip around it— be direct and clear.

There is no “oh would you like to do a dance with me? It’s only $20!” Here. You’re now going to say something like “How about we go play and dance for a little. Let’s start with three dances and see how you feel from there. Ready?”

If you want the nitty gritty in dancing with marketing & sales there are two accounts I recommend here. One is u/BlondeChick_Lexi and the other is u/plussizedstripper

If you aren’t familiar with lexi, now you are. I’ve known her for quite some time and she’s a good friend of mine. Her tips are best for those struggling with seduction and needing to build routine when in school etc. She built herself up and worked hard to get where she is so she knows what she’s talking about.

Plus sized stripper is someone who is very active and posts nitty gritty deep dives of information / tips for amplifying income. If you need to find a way to quadruple money, she probably has the info somewhere if you just look. You have to be willing to put what she says into play. And you have to be willing to try harder than you want to. It’s an art.

Next up is the iconic stripper web, you can find screenshots on Reddit and I believe an archive of it. When I was trying to increase my average nightly income I SCOURED that place. I read every comment I could. I hunted down every little bit of hustle possible. There are gems everywhere if you just LOOK.

Prioritize your goals and create a formula that increases your nightly average steadily. I also highly recommend MULTIPLE sources of income or diversifying your business here. Donate plasma, start baking cupcakes, clean peoples houses, babysit kids, tutor people, work at a bar, etc. Where there is a will there’s a way. If I can do it while sick and grieving, you can do it too.

You need to learn how to invest. Don’t be like me. I didn’t invest, I’ve been dancing for over three years now and still haven’t hit my goals. That’s right. Before my health declined I had plans. I thought it was okay to take a little longer while I was depressed because I didn’t realize how fast I’d have to relearn how to strip. Now I have to restart from the ground up. It used to make me feel so shameful that I wasn’t where I wanted to be. But please remember that everyone has different privileges and the like. It only takes one step to get started.

Figure out your flaws and work on them. I for one suck major ass at doing my hair. I suck so bad. So that’s a flaw. So I learned one to two things I can use to help that. Your flaws make you unique, yes. But your skill levels in makeup and hair matter. Having good oral hygiene matters. Figuring out the color palette that works for you MATTERS. Even if you think it doesn’t. Stop looking at the next girl going “why does SHE make so much money” or “she only makes money because xyz” and start thinking “how can I make that much money?”

Be open to learning from things you wouldn’t expect.

A girl at the club I work at has been dancing for 10 years. That woman can walk out of a two hour shift with $800 and not break a damn sweat. So I asked myself “what’s she doing” and I’ll be honest.. I listened to her while she was talking to customers and figured it out. After that I started doing the same things and eventually I was hardly breaking a sweat but leaving with larger amounts.

Or, for instance. My boyfriend showed me this trick one night. I’d been rubbing his ring finger and while we our hands were over the table. I’d mentioned that guys at work tend to like it. Then he showed me how to slide my fingers over someone’s hand in a specific manner that makes them shiver etc. I still use it sometimes.

There was also a girl that told me she just lies to guys. I had to be open to that even if I’m not good at it. And guess what? It made me money.

I am by no means an expert. I have fumbled bags. My toes aren’t done. I’m a sleepy woman who drinks a not so good amount of caffeine. I have to bring an inhaler and extra strength Tylenol to my shifts. But despite all of this, I still have the potential to make money. Now if you ask me “have you been making $1k a night lately” the answer is no not really unless I had my regular. Otherwise I’ve been relearning and adjusting my hustle lately.

Check your bad habits and being horny. I am so so serious. Some of y’all get drunk and horny and make bad decisions. You’ll be so focused on the cute guy with no money that you walk right past the money maker wearing a polo. Quit wasting your own time babe. You can go get some dick, pussy, or Fuck yourself after work. When you are at work you should be focused on work.

So if you want to make more, get up and do it. Cry when you need to cry. Do it crying. Do it angry. Get it done sad. It doesn’t matter you just have to get it done. Make a simple to do list of the following and get to work:

  • find a method of passive income
  • Learn marketing, sales and psychology tips / tricks
  • Make a progrsssive income plan including regulars names, general expected $$ from them, frequency of visits and how you’re going to increase this.
  • Create shift plans that include a goal and how you’ll achieve it
  • Stop blaming others for your downfalls
  • Work on major flaws that could increase income if changed
  • Open a HYSA to stuff money in to have your money situated

If you like challenges, make yourself a one month challenge to see how much you can make in that month. Try every trick you can. Keep a notepad with you and highlight the ones that work best for you. It’s possible, I promise.

BIG agree.

I learned all of my makeup from YouTube. Miss A is also a very affordable brand I’ve seen great reviews of. If doesn’t take much to get started.

Most of my products are drug store but perform very well even while dancing because of the methods and techniques I use. I think most dancers really only need a few solid looks to put together honestly. It’s all about practice and experience in this industry
