Whether you're going to school, starting a business, or you currently just suck at stripping and wanna get better: the answer is discipline.
Figure out what habits are fucking you over now and how to combat them/replace them one by one. Create routines and STICK to them. Like, actually.
Don't just say "i'm going to do ten minutes of yoga after every shift".. do it. You can start off by doing it once a week, then twice, then thrice-- you get the point.
Something I hated coming to terms with but inevitably did.. I was stagnant because of my own bullshit. It was me causing things to get worse. My lack of discipline allowed all of my symptoms to go absolute off the wall, batshit crazy. My lack of discipline had me eating out an obscene amount, consuming 2 energy drinks a day (or more), sleepily heading to work without stretching and hardly putting effort in.
Yes, partially because I was depressed out of my mind. But I also wasn't making it easier on myself to feel better and soothe my mental health.
If you wanna have a better 2024, gotta get tired of your own bullshit first. It applies to pretty much everything, too lol:
relationships ? get tired of accepting bare minimum, being aggressive, fearing commitment and vulnerability
stripping ? get tired of not putting the extra oomph in. try traveling, planning, save extra, push your sales techniques harder.
Once you're tired of your own bs, don't just be tired of it. Write down what you want, how you're going to get it, pick something and just go for it
so yeah, the key to how i got a great regular and started saving, figuring things out, etc : i got tired of my own bullshit lol it's been the best damn decision I made all year
It's all about the way you say things and your body language.
So if you sit for say, 15 minutes, and they decline a dance. You can say "okay baby well unfortunately I've got to go, but would you mind tipping me for the time i spent with you? I've had a great time" or something like that. They'll say no, sometimes. You just have to roll with it.
As for after dances, you shouldn't ask "do you want to tip me?" because that just doesn't work. It's better, before the dance, to say "okay baby its $XYZ plus tip" (per dance) OR after you dance, "thank you, it's $XYZ and tips are appreciated".
Every sale you make is based on confidence. You won't make sales if you're insecure, think it wasn't worth it, etc. You have to believe in your head that you deserve the tip and you have to be happy when you suggest it
Also. Bundle your dances if possible. I try to avoid doing single dances if i can unless it's dead as fuck or something lol
I found setting rules for myself helped alleviate that. I went through a phase of doing those things, for a while. My earnings dipped tremendously.
Some of my rules are:
-> Don't sit down for longer than 10-15 minutes without pitching a sale.
-> If there are men on the floor, there is money somewhere for me, I just have to find it.
-> If they don't OUTRIGHT reject me, they're still a potential target.
-> If they say "oh later" "maybe later" I will in fact, come back later if I'm not busy.
-> No phone.
-> Ask for tips, always.
A weird one for me is that I count down to my goal. If my goal is $1k, i think plainly, okay thats 50, $20 lap dances. I'll repeat that to myself as I'm walking around. "It's 9pm, there's four men, which one is most likely to get five or more dances". I don't include stage tips etc in my goal $$, only dances and rooms. This keeps me on my toes and constantly pushing for more money i think.
If you find yourself sitting for way too long with men who aren't spending, getting relaxed and letting the fantasy fade & not pitching sales try a smart watch. You can set timers, stop watches, etc and figure out a system!
Good luck <3
omg, that sucks so many balls-- my plan was only like fifty bucks (but it isn't the best) a month. i hope things work out and such, i don't know if meds are in the picture/costing lots but if so definitely check good rx and such for discounts and the like.
big big big proud!!!! you got this for sure, i don't know if you have a printer but if you do I used pinterest and canva to make some printables. There's this one goal one that i really liked that made it measurable n' stuff! For me that took a lot of the stress/planning anxiety away. And of course <3
i'm so happy for you! i don't know if you're in the US, but if you are, applying for health insurance if you don't already have it can help!!! i'm so glad you're taking the steps to get better. good luck and may the new year bring you many good things
It's most likely where and how you're meeting them. Before you get into the dating scene, write down a list of what you want in a partner. What are your non negotiables? What is their job like? What kind of hobbies might they have? What would their ideal day look like?
Then you find the "like" hobby and go do it. Otherwise you'll run into the same rinse and repeat people that act weird as shit, just want a quick fuck, etc.
Men who enjoy the arts are often more patient, for example. Anyone who's done pottery or clay work knows that it takes a lot of patience and time to learn. The same thing can be said for painting. So if you want someone patient, maybe go to a class (if you have interest).
The "real men" are typically busy and have lives, so they're not going to be out partying all the time, on dating apps 24/7, etc. They likely don't have a lot of social media, too. They're going to be doing their own things, have their own set of standards and boundaries, and that's where you'll find them.
Then you have to ask yourself what your flaws are that can be worked on and what you're willing to budge/compromise on. You won't be able to sustain a relationship with a man who is busy with a career and hobbies if you're insecure/don't trust/etc for instance.
I'm not typically one for dating much, I don't find romance to be a necessity in my life. If it finds me, I will accept it, but it took me a long time to get there. I got rid of all of the insecurity and ickyness I had regarding expectations and whatnot. That helped me a lot.

I'm glad lol, I've been meaning to make a post like this. Getting tired of my own bullshit has changed my mindset completely. I'm excited for the new year!
