• Last week at a client meeting, after discussing my extremely high workload, someone commented "I looked like I've come from a bad place", referencing the fact that i've added 15kg and generally let myself go over the past 12 months.
• I went to the doctor yesterday, and was told that they would have to 'do something' about my high blood pressure soon if it didn't come down.
• I wrote a piece of error code this morning that was fairly reusable, so I went to add it to another project, only to find I had wrote the same code while drunk 2 nights ago and completely forgot about it.

I feel like drinking is finally starting to lose its appeal for me. It's just not worth what I'm putting myself through to have it.
