Post Body

After finishing the last DT book yesterday, I decided to re-watch the movie. I have only watched it once in the past right after it hit video, so it has been a few years. The movie was ok back then, and because I had yet to finish the books, I didn't really know what was out of the books and what had been added. Now having finished the books and watching movie once more, I can't help but be appalled. I wasn’t happy with the casting from the start when the film was in production, but seeing how they just shoehorned so much in and then added extra stuff here and there, not to mention the tacked on "sequel to the books" explanation they gave for the changes that were made. It blows my mind, and I can honestly say reading the rest of the books ruined what little bit I originally liked about the film. Anyways, just my opinion. What does everyone else think?
