Browsing the Japanese Nintendo Switch eShop today and I noticed that Steins;Gate Elite is out in Japan now. Cool! But that got me thinking about the proof of concept a few months ago, where Steins;Gate 8-Bit was being played on an actual Famicom. Has anyone had the chance to figure out if it really is an NES rom file, just playable on the Switch, or is it a distant dream to think about actually playing Steins;Gate 8-Bit on real NES hardware. I'll be upfront, I know next to nothing about extracting rom files or anything along those lines, I'm just curious if anyone has looked into it at this point.
