Watched TFA, knowing that Finn is at least force sensitive changes it somewhat. I believe the force that Kylo feel is Finn not Rey. And, that Kylo is at least somewhat aware of it from the beginning of the movie. I wonder if Kylo didn't wound him he would have gone to see Luke with Rey and become a Jedi. I also wonder why Kylo didn't want to kill Finn. Was Finn his second choice to be an apprentice? Also him "leveling up" so fast going from getting his butt kicked by a stormtrooper to landing a blow on Kylo and standing toe to toe with Kylo.
