My store opens oatmeal packets and puts them in the bowls and leaves them on the counter? I’ve transferred here and borrowed at other stores and I’ve never seen other stores do this.
I’m not sure they get fifoed and they definitely don’t get day dots.
Can someone point me to any starbucks resources about this? My manager and the shifts all say it’s fine but I can’t find any standards that say this is correct.
My store has done that for years. It just recently changed. Not bc it’s ‘bad’ but bc we rearranged our store and don’t have space for them anywhere. We would just gauge how busy we usually are on certain days when we prepped them. It was easy to control bc i opened every day so I’d make sure we used the old ones before making more (if we didn’t use all of the previous prepped ones)
