Hi, so I recently ran out of space on one of my drives where I download tv shows and movies on and I wanna continue downloading the new episodes on a new drive I got but there doesn't seem to be an option to add multiple root paths for tv series. I searched around for answers and there seems to be the option to use a RAID to make multiple drives seem like one but the setup for it looks complicated and it looks like this option creates a single point of failure in the event of a disk crash. The other option I saw was to make symlinks. I tried that but sonarr fails to move/copy the finished download and says that part of the path could not be found. The setup is as follows:
Torrent client downloads new torrents here:
New_disk/Active Downloads/New_episode_folder/New_episode.ext
The tv series already exists on the old disk and thats the path that is set for the tv show in sonarr.
I want sonarr to move the newly downloaded file from New_disk/Active Downloads/ --> New_disk/Tv Shows/Tv_Show_Name/SeasonX/ and to recognize it downloaded it
I made a symbolic link of the SeasonX folder in the new disk and placed it in the old disk but it didn't work. Has anyone successfully done this?
