So, a couple of months ago I bought some Nanoleaf-elements, and I love them. A while back I decided to take the plunge and make my home smarter and smarter, gradually. I don't have huge space or need where I live currently, but just enough to try some things out and learn lots.
So, apart from my Nanoleaf Elements I plan to start out with one (possible more in the future) Amazon Echo (4th gen), and grow things from there. The next logical step for what I'd like is some nice compatible and customizable lightbulbs for the "standard" lighting.
What would you recommend for a beginner, that is compatible with Alexa? From what I understand after some google searches most smart bulbs seem to be compatible, so I'm mostly looking for quality. RGB, Filament, or just standard whites, I'm interested in anything as long as its reliable, vibrant and a good platform to learn.
What are some pitfalls or advantages? What should I by all means stay away from? And after sorting out lighting, what would be the next logical step (assuming there is need for anything, haha).
