Pressure washer cord whipping back
Post Body

I have a Simpson 4400 psi machine. after running it for 10-15 minutes I’ll shut it off, then when I go to pull it and start running it again, the cord will whip back violently. I actually thought I broke my hand last time.

I have no idea what could cause this. Yes I keep the trigger open when starting, and fresh gas/oil.

I’m thinking possibly the valves have to be adjusted?
