Hey, I recently downloaded Skyrim to give it another go but camera is so choppy that it makes the game look like 15-20fps while it's stable 144fps. I've searched other threads about this but only fix that works is FPS Limiter. While it fixes the problem completely, it makes game laggy like:
-Arrows disappear when shot (opening a menu and returning the game shoots all arrows at once)
-Traps trigger like 5-10 seconds after being stepped on
-Opening and closing chests/barrels etc. is laggy (they close 5-10 seconds later)
And many more bugs like the examples above (some are quest related, some are about dialog) , while they have workarounds it makes the game unenjoyable. Seems like choppy camera is caused by unlimited fps so I tried limiting the fps with RivaTunerSS but it causes a massive fps drop (144 to 30-40fps)and choppy camera still persists but reduced, played for a while like this but after 10 mins game crashed without any errors. So far I have no other fix that comes to mind, can anybody help me about this please?

Edit: I finally fixed it. You've got to limit your fps another way. Both Nvidia and Radeon's force v-sync doesn't work on this game, using ENB and RivaTuner lowers your fps dramaticcaly, as I said fps limiter mod makes the game laggy so here's what I did in order to fix it(not sure which fixed it so do everything):
1)Edit your skyrimprefs.ini and skyrim.ini according to mine, provided in modwatch link (skip this step if you want to play with v-sync on, mine was choppy with both on and off so I disabled it)
2)In Radeon Software, select TESV and switch on the Radeon Chill, set min limit to 140fps-max limit to 142fps. These numbers worked for me, feel free to change it and if you have a 60hz monitor I suggest you set the limit as 58fps-56fps. I don't know how to replicate this step on Nvidia so if you do know it please reply to this post and tell us, so that somebody else might fix it this way.
3)After these game was perfect: no lags, no choppy camera but it caused another bug which is worse. Game started crashing without any errors in 1-5 minutes. I downloaded this mod: Crash fixes which actually made it worse (whole pc crashed). Nevertheless I kept it active in Vortex, and tried another fix which is lowering your shadow details in the launcher, it was ultra and I switched to medium.
After I did all that I played for 2 hours: No crashes, no lag and no choppy camera. Hope this fixes the bug for you too.
