Destroyed trust
Post Body

My partner continues to find “new” items around our home. The answer seems to always be “I bought that a long time ago” to the point he can’t trust that to be true. I’ve also lied or held back from telling him about purchased items that we actually need. I just get so afraid of the continued questioning and confession that I couldn’t seem to stop buying things. I don’t know what I can do other than learn def discipline to break the addiction. I’ve began to get rid of the items accumulated and set spending measurements in place. This is just such a low point for me. I feel like I cheated.
