User --> SecGroup permissions kick in?

Feel like I should know this.... but:
When using AD groups and SharePoint, on new member adds, where does it get stuck picking up the change and requiring users to wait before effect?
i.e., stop me when I'm wrong/point:
- AD-DCs >
- KDC >
- User Windows Session >
- WFE Object Cache >
- AD-DCs >
- KDC >
- Ticket-on WFE >
- FedAuth Cookie >
- Blob Cache >
- Distributed Cache >
- SQL memory ACL/ACE stickyness? >
- SharePoint Magic Hamster Gremlin that has to sleep overnight???
So in a scenario where AD group change is made, user logs out/kills session and back in.... where would you /force /reset to force the update? Hypothetically>Practically?
