Sharepoint List Column with hyperlinks, plain text in the export

I'm a pretty basic user of sharepoint as it's not my main job function...
I manage a sharepoint list with a column of hyperlinks. It is setup as multiple lines of text with enhanced rich text. We put hyperlinks into this column, but when we export the data it converts all of the lists to plain text.
Is there anyway to have it maintain the hyperlinks in the export (we switched to this way as some links were over the 255 character limit so could not use the hyperlinks or picture detting)
