I’m a SATC superfan…I’m literally always commenting on this sub and I am always in a state of rewatching.
After seeing a lot of negative reviews, comments that the characters weren’t acting like themselves and that the plot lines are trying too hard to be “woke,” I just didn’t want to watch.
But then I did watch it and I really like it?
The new characters are so fun, and I’m enjoying seeing how they are all navigating this stage of life. The “woke” stuff, while a little heavy handed, is not that different from conversations and challenges I’m seeing in my real life, but maybe that’s because I am also a “city girl?” (Though not NYC).
Anyway, I know this is probably an unpopular opinion, but wanted to share.
