Retro Patterns Recommendations?

Does anyone any good sewing patterns that are inspires/ recreations of clothes from the from the 1920's-1950's. I've been getting into retro fashions. I have two Butterick 1950's patterns, but after the disaster that was B4790 I'm hesitant to try any more modern retro patterns without hearing form others who have used them before.
Any suggestions?
