I know one of the biggest contributing factors in my negativity towards myself is that I constantly compare myself to others. I see an attractive person and think about how ugly I am, someone accomplishes something and all I can think about is how I haven’t done anything as great as them, people my age have talent and I think I have no talent/will never be as talented as them. I’ve done this for as long as I can remember honestly, and I want to stop, try and tell myself not to, but it doesn’t really work. Has anyone had this problem, or do you have advice on how to stop it?
