I didnt see a 'do not buy' thread or anything like that, so i thought i would start one concerning Homefarmer.com.
the good:I got a couple of their garden kits. They were pre-matched items in a them. Like a salsa pack that had all the seeds needed to make a salsa. Loved the idea.
The bad: Poor sprouting. three of the seed packets of 9 produced nothing, two had only a few sprouts. For a product with the words 'sure sprout' on the front and each seed packet I was not impressed.
The Ugly:Their website is full of what looks like fake reviews. Want to leave your own, then its going to have to go through a review. Want to get in contact, dont try their help line because no one will be on even during their open hours.
In general avoid them.
edit. well they are slow to respond but they offered me enough seeds to fill my garden as an apology. all i asked was for a $4 refund...ill take it though.
