Just got back from a 2-week dive trip (I'm based in SEA), and one of the shops I dove with sometimes filled the AL80 tanks to 220 - 250 bar. All of the dives were to c. 30m so BT was more limited by our NDLs than air anyways.

I highlighted this to the DMs on the first few dives but they didn't seem concerned.

I'm pretty new to diving (40 dives) but all other shops I've been at filled their AL80 tanks to the 200 bar they are rated for.

Wondering if overfilling tanks by these margins (10% - 25%) is something you guys have also seen? I read some scary stories online about tanks exploding etc and am wondering if I should specifically ask for only 200 bar next time this happens to me.
