One sad thing about the Disaster Trilogy I don't see talked about often...
Post Body

Is that we never once got a scene with Luke, Leia, and Han all together again.

We all know how insulting Disney's fanfictions are, but it really takes the cake when you realise: they had two shots at showing the the main trio from the OT together and thriving again, but no. They knew the actors were getting older. They must have known how much those three especially mean to fans. But judging by Disney's treatment of them separately, I'm not even surprised the directors didn't have the intelligence to even consider all three of them meeting up again.

It probably would've been too close to what George suggested, that being a comprehensive and sensible story, faithful to who the characters truly are.

Edit: Yes this point has been brought up before, just like every other point under the sun. I personally haven't seen this discussed a lot before, which is why I wanted to have a mini rant.

Edit 2: Damn I guess it's illegal to not have heard certain things a lot before 😩
