I am very very scared to start cold calling. I just don't know what to say when they first pick up the phone. Basically I do equipment leasing , and I have to get a hold of the owner to talk about my services. When it comes to cold calling, how can I know that I am speaking to the owner or how to ask for the owner?

How do I also ask for the owners name before I start proceeding with my pitch. I have a script but it seems very outdated and idk how to make it work. Any advice on how to get the conservation going and see if they are interested in what I provide?

Thank you so much for any advice!! I used to have warm leads so it made it easier to contact someone. I'm just very very scared to call someone randomly and try to offer my services.
