Has anyone converted from end boom sheeting to mid boom sheeting?
Post Body
I want to avoid breaking the boom. What I am hearing mostly is to use a few attach points on the boom to minimize point stress. I realize this adds a lot of force to the boom extrusion. The idea is to free my cockpit of control lines and allow for full canvass between the dodger and bimini. Most of what I am hearing says its okay with the multiple attach point precaution, and some say that isn't necessary, but real world success, or rather more importantly, failure stories would be helpful. Thanks
