I dunno about y'all but Drag Race is the only reality competition show that I can think of where success on the show (whether that means being funny and gaining a fanbase, making it to the Top 4, winning, etc etc) ACTUALLY translates to concrete and significant success in the field of drag (higher booking fees, bigger fanbase, more gigs, relevant connections)
I mean, when has a winner of America's Next Top Model /actually/ become a household name? Out of the 10 seasons of American Idol, and The Voice how many winners/finalists have actually gone on to be world-famous, Grammy-winning singers?
