So 6 weeks into my C25K I got a viral infection and now my tonsils are infected. I felt like I got hit by a truck Wednesday night and have been having fever/sore throats. Tried to do a light jog/walk yesterday but only managed 2KM.
Pretty disappointed since this really came out of nowhere and I was feeling super solid in my training. Was aiming to run a 10K in July which is a pretty conservative goal (I think), not sure how long I'll be sidelined with this infection.
How did you fellow runners cope with getting ill during your training schedules?
