Very long campaign, using new characters for some players and - for me - the character I made when I was eight years old, essentially growing up with him.
The campaign lasts for years, and as we fight the Evil One, he decides to send us forward in time. No rolls, no actual fight, he just sends us forward in time.
Then it seems like there is a plot line we can follow to return in our timeline and stop him - except, after about ten sessions of gruelling diplomacy and going back and forth through the world map in a Mad Max styled world, suddenly two ANGELS that follow the will of the one true God, the Dungeon Master, decide to help us out and bring us where we can fulfill our destiny.
In the past.
About 2000 years before our original timeline.
I was getting prepared to a long time in this past, when... On the very session we got transported to the past, my character (who NEVER got involved in any kind of romantic or sexual relationship whatsoever during all my years of roleplay, due to his personality as a hermit archimage) decides that he is in love with a girl he met, and after some seduction he kisses her.
As he does, the world starts spinning around him and the party members who were nearby and the master rolls a d100.
The result is 5.
The girl disintegrates, our characters return to their original timeline right as they were fighting the Evil One, who says "I remember you bastards, you killed my daughter!" (The girl who disintegrated after the DM rolled a 5) and then proceeds to kill every one of us.
Not in a fight. The DM says: "and upon uttering these words, his sheer magical pressure crushes all the bones and organs in your body beyond resurrection".
End of the **** campaign.
I hate him and I believe I won't play RPGs again.
I myself am mastering a parallel campaign that started a couple of weeks ago, and I am planning on dropping it.
This isn't what a good master should do; I voiced my opinion and he said "you should have used your magical perception on the girl before kissing her, it's your fault that you died, not mine".
I truly hate him.
