zip files on dolphin for handheld

downloaded a few roms for GC and they said that they should be rvz format which i know is acceptable formats. i loaded them onto my SD card but they’re being read as zip format.
how do i compress my files? when i do it from the settings in the sd card i just get another zip file. when i try to it through dolphin, it doesn’t show me anything about compressing to acceptable format.
what sites have iso/rvz files for GC roms??
