Is research science a good job for someone with ADHD? (Evolutionary Biology or Mollecular Biology-not medical)
Post Body

I'm double majoring in Environmental Science and Ecology & Evolutionary Biology. I care about the planet so I'm studying Environmental Science to have a secure job in conservation of some sort, but, I'm actually really interested in evolution, which deals a lot with cell function. In my microbiology class I find myself helping my friends with all the in-class problems which leads me to believe it could be something I'm actually good at? And enjoy?? That doesn't happen often. I also have actual questions about the subject, nothing usually sparks my curiosity. If I got the safe job with Environmental Science I'd be in a lot less student debt, but if I continued my study and got a PhD in Ecology and Evolutionary Biology I could get paid to study some really cool stuff??? How long is an individual research project? If you study molecular biology/Evolutionary Biology please give me insight into what your field is like!!! I'm not really into medicinal studies.
