Last year my girlfriend and I were selling some things on Facebook Marketplace. We were using her account and I was handling the messages. I got nosey at one point and started looking through some of her past conversations. I came across one between her and her ex-boyfriend from many years ago. The conversation was recent then, like within a few months of me reading it. He suggested they should get together sometime then made it a point to say "Just us for drinks". He then went on with they can talk about what could have been. She replied with "As long as it's not going to get you into trouble". He said it wouldn't. Her reply was "I'm good at getting into trouble on my own" with a smiley face. He told her no one needs to know about it. Her reply was "So trouble it is".

I know I was wrong for snooping. But what's worst? That or the information that I found while doing it? I don't know if they ever followed though on this. There was very limited conversation after this exchange and no other mention of them getting together. At least not in Messenger.

These messages have stuck with me and have caused me to not be able to trust her 100%. I can't really say she does anything else to make me question her aside from one night when we were having a disagreement and her Google tracking just happened to stop working while she was out at 11PM then I didn't hear from her until the next morning (she said she was on her way home).

We are supposed to discuss things that have been bothering us tonight. Should I come clean with what I did and question what I found or just let it go?
