My boyfriend (26m) and I (27m) have been talking about marriage a lot, we’ve been together for 1.5 years. I love him dearly and I still feel like I’m in the “honey moon” phase even after dating for so long. He’s so caring, sweet, driven, funny, loving, and I’m over the moon about him.
We both want similar things: a house together, get a pet, and have 2 kids.
Recently, with this talk of marriage I have been thinking when/how I can propose to him. He has also been dropping hints about marriage, too.
Is there ever a right time for proposal or am I overthinking this?
TLDR: I’ve been with my boyfriend for 1.5 years and we are talking about marriage. We love each other dearly, but I don’t know when I should propose. We want the same things as each other as well.
