Communication advice, how much space to give??
Post Body

Me (28,m) and my girl (27, f)have been seeing each other for 8 months and we always seem to run into communication issues. She's the type of that bottles her emotions in and will have outbursts while I like to hash it out.

I left Saturday afternoon to take care of my sick mom until late Sunday. We had a wonderful valentine's day and following morning before I went back to my hometown.

The last time we spoke/saw each other was Saturday afternoon. This morning (Monday) I hit her up about a day date seeing as we both had the day off. We also made plans to look at apartments for her today a week ago.

She says that I only talk to her when I want to hang out.... I apologized for making her feel like that then she asked if we need space, which i said yeah I'll give you space. Now she's upset with the space and I'm confused.

I talk to her every night and see her throughout the week.

What can I do to fix the communication in the relationship?

I really value it but the communication issues are really turning me away, especially when she shuts down and won't talk to me and instead posts on social media what she's feeling.

And especially when I feel that I'm always being freaked out on about things that could be resolved and glided over.
