aren't we supposedly living in the age of abundant information?
Any good media is hard to find, but i genuinely struggle to find any discussion that goes beyond surface level observations. 99% of video essays are awful, most group chats\discord channels become homogenized over time and lose its novelty, stuff like youtube algo is obviously unusable, and i don't have smart friends for every topic i'm interested in. The best i can hope for is to find a recorded uni lecture on this topic, or a blog post\forum thread from way before blogs and forums died, or maybe even an old thread on reddit\4chan, but you can't really participate in those discussions and most of them are old anyways
Is there a linkedin-esque website for this shit? Did i miss the memo? Pls let me know if you know anything about something
I just read books and talk to friends irl. Was in a film club that I now miss, itβs about finding stuff like that. I prefer these conversations in the real world, maybe a little bit here too
