Yes, people can die at stage 3 from chemo or other things related to their cancer or even the treatment alone- even other health issues. But I don’t think his conversations with his wife should be toned in a “you’re not going to make it” way when she is stage 3 and likely fighting for her damn life in order to spend even a few more years with him. What an asshat.
