First off! Last year we did a demographics survey that really helped us better understand the community and where they come from - We are following up with another, more in-depth survey that is by no means required, but we encourage you to fill it out to help us better the community here are /r/rarepuppers.

Now for the serious bits:

VI. spelling mistakes are allowed :^)

This rule has been interpreted in a manner that has paved the way for a speech register here on rarepuppers; This is great! However:

It is not against the rules to type normally.

Please stop reporting users and posts for not using pupperspeak. It has never been against the rules, and never will be. Likewise, it is still perfectly acceptable to use pupperspeak wherever you wish here on /r/rarepuppers.

However, please continue to report heckboys and meanies that automod doesn't catch.

VII. do not swear 
     use heck as a replacement for every swear thank you

It would be easier to just list the acceptable words than the unacceptable ones: The only acceptable 'swers' here on /r/rarepuppers are Heck and Darn and variations thereof. Anything else will be removed by either our staff or automod.

Regarding reports - Please don't send us positive reports, either. If you wish to share kind words with us, do it via the modmail! Using the report function to share praise is inconvenient and actually creates more work for us.

And finally, for the fringe cases we've been getting:

This is a subreddit devoted to cute little animols such as puppers, cates and turtles if you have some cute turtles post other animols if you want to ok

Do not report posts for not cotaining dogs. All animals are welcome here at rarepuppers, except humuns.

Humun are weird.
