Literally a quote from her earlier tonight and I'm completely baffled. My father(nearing his 70's) had heart surgery on Friday. I went to work as normal on Friday, worried, but constantly checking my phone when I could to make sure that he was doing well. NMom sent zero texts, and I didn't find anything out until my father, post-surgery, called me Saturday. I'm at the point where I just let that shit go, because I don't want my anger/frustration about the situation to be known, as it will be used on me later on down the line, regardless of if I'm crying because I don't want my father to die or if I'm happy that he's okay.
This one, though, holy.fucking.shit. The first heart attack my father had, no one contacted me for five hours, and when they did, it was with a text from GCBro that read, "Dad had a heart attack." These assholes waited five fucking hours to tell me, and it was the end of my shift, so I, being conditioned, did what any product of a narc would do and stayed to clean my section and close out the night.
