Welcome to Weekly Update 147. This week we will summarize the development goals the Raiden development team is currently working on.

Development progress

The Raiden development team is working hard on reaching a couple of significant development goals more before the end of the year.

One of those goals is the Raiden client v1.3 release. It was already decided that this release’s codename will be “Bespin” and—while it will not be shipped with support for the WebRTC transport layer—it will include refreshed WebUI (v1.1.1), faster syncing with the blockchain and support for the recent geth versions.

The Raiden light client team is also looking to tie up some loose ends. The light client SDK is relatively stable, however there are some minor bugs in the dApp that they want to dust off. The developers will continue their testing and in parallel will also work on resolving bugs in the dApp part.
