Hello there lovely people! After a break from relationships, I am at a healthy and positive point in my life where I’d love to meet someone new and enjoy what life has to offer in whatever way we vibe.

About me: I’m a 37-year-old white US queer/bisexual guy currently in Michigan. By day, I have a job at a university that’s like a professor but broader. If you’re into the nerdy and athletic type who is always passionate about far too many interests at once, I’m your guy! I am also continuing my education, and love constantly learning about new topics and new people. The job, however, requires a lot of discretion, empathy, and professionalism - hence the post here.

Physically, I am 5’11 with an active and athletic build. I enjoy long distance running (every birthday I run my age in kilometers – it keeps me always striving to be healthier and younger!), and I am into weightlifting, bouldering, tennis, and hiking. Part of what I am hoping to find here is a partner to be healthy and active with.

Importantly, I’m childfree, ddf, and sterilized - a bonus for taking care of birth control long term and a great match for someone also seeking childfree friends/relationships.

Values, if this part matters to you: I’m a leftist, feminist, and care about reproductive rights, racial and disability justice, and the environment – though, I also value switching off from politics as it does occupy some of my job. I’m absolutely not the type to make politics my entire personality, and especially as I’ve gotten older I’ve become much less judgmental and more open to new ideas and perspectives.

I am open to any location and adult age range – though generally get along more with people younger than me who fit my values and lifestyle, as in my experience they've been more likely to resist traditional gender and dating norms. I'd be open to someone quite a bit older as well if you feel you're a great match and have a dominant side you want to express. I'm based in Michigan, sometimes travel and work remotely, but plan to eventually move for work.
