Your situation may not be the same as mine, but whatever it is, you’re here – looking for someone to connect with. Someone who is attractive, like you. Someone who can capture your attention, and whose attention you will capture. Someone who will scratch your proverbial itch in life.
Sounds simple, but for some reason it’s so hard to find that person – or even someone remotely resembling that person.
But you want to. You really want to. And so you peruse your Reddit feed, click on some eye-catchers, read through some posts, and respond to the ones that seem to have the right ingredients – with the hope that they look as good as they sound (if not better).
What comes next, of course, depends almost entirely on luck, it seems. Is he a stud? Or is he a dud?
Did the stars align just right? Or was it just another plane passing over in the night?
Well, you’re here, so it’s probably been the latter for you so far. It’s been like that for me so far.
Maybe this will be the start of something new? Let’s find out.
About me: I'm East Asian, 37, married with kids, in a dead bedroom situation. I'm relatively attractive or so I'm told (but aren't we all, relatively?). I'm in okay good shape and eat healthy and work out as much as I can. If height matters to you, I'm 5'6". I don't do drugs. Drink socially. Love to get outside, to cook, eat good food, and find new places to explore (would be good to find someone to explore too). Very open, easy going, and up to try new things in and out of the bedroom.
About you: I think if you clicked on this post and have read this far (and enjoyed it), we are probably compatible enough to engage in a conversation to at least get to know one another to see what sort of chemistry we have. I don't need to say what your likes and dislikes should be or say you should have this quality or that characteristic. I think the same goes for appearance as well. While we all have preferences, I've come to realize that it's probably not a good idea to describe what type of women I tend to be attracted to, though it would be great if you could describe yourself. In doing so, I may discourage someone really great from responding.
So, if you've gotten this far, send me a message already! And don't worry about writing a catchy, Pulitzer prize-winning first message. I'm not going to ignore your one-liner. I'm a guy. Our inboxes don't get flooded with messages like women. :) And I will reply.
