Hey there! Hope you're having a lovely Christmas this year.
I've gone to my parents' place for the holidays. Time for food, movies, talking to the family. What better addition than a new online friend to talk to? :)
I'm 30, from Copenhagen, Denmark and work as a software developer. Now that the basics are out of the way, and to make it easier to write a first message, here are some things I'm interested in these days:
- I'm thinking of travelling somewhere this February. I've got a bunch of days off I need to spend. Perhaps you've got some recommendations? I'm a bit nervous about the thought travelling alone, I must admit, so if you have some positive experiences and tips that'd be lovely.
- I experimented with cooking a Danish pork roast sous vide the other day. I think I need to practice a bit more; nailing the crackling is the hard part. But it turned out pretty alright.
- I've gotten into TikTok these past 3-4 months. It's a pretty fun platform, I think. There's a kind of air of just having fun over it that I really can appreciate. It seems like most people on reddit aren't of the same conviction though. Ah well. :)
- Perhaps I should try to make my Tinder profile a bit better. I don't really get any matches. If you've got some advice, I'd love to hear it.
- I've got a bit of anxiety that I'm working on these days. (Instead of just running away from the stuff I'm scared of, which I guess I'm a bit used to.) It's a biiit scary, so maybe you'd like to talk to me about some of them? I'd like to be able to start conversations with strangers, but I overthink it a lot, so I worry about things like when it's appropriate to do it, how to do it without bothering people, what to say. Perhaps you have some input or experience you'd lie to share? I'd like that. :)
- I've just started playing Two Point Hospital! That's a pretty fun game. I'm on the 3rd level right now, trying to get my 3rd star. My staff isn't really happy enough right now, though. :(
Naturally those aren't the only things we can talk about, but maybe it gives you some ideas. If not, just tell me about the things that're on your radar right now. I love listening to people talk about their interests. :)
