For anyone thinking baclofen is a good way to get off phenibut, think again. I got a script from it from my GP, used it for just three weeks, and yeah, I'm off phenibut, but now I'm addicted to baclofen and baclofen withdrawal is FAR WORSE than phenibut withdrawal.
Phenibut withdrawal for me: Felt like shit, extreme anxiety, cold sweats, no motivation, laid in bed and watched Netflix all day, slept a lot. Easy enough to get off of if you take a hiatus from work for health reasons (legally, you don't have to disclose the nature of your medical condition and most employers won't terminate you if you're a long-term valuable employee and tell them you need to take time off due to a serious health condition) and willing to just suffer through the anxiety.
Baclofen Withdrawal: Cannot sleep for more than 2 hours, and when I do sleep, it isn't deep sleep. Anxiety is worse, everything is worse. Had a blackout after the 3rd night without any real sleep, when I finally took a 10mg tablet of baclofen to sleep. I did a bunch of weird shit during my blackout, moved furniture around to weird places that made no sense. But thankfully, I did wake up in bed, and got some real sleep. Thank God no one else was home. So now I have to TAPER OFF BACLOFEN or otherwise end up delirious and potentially hospitalized. Perhaps baclofen is less addictive for some people. But for me, it only took 3 weeks for me to require it for sleep.
Now the only thing I can do is taper off baclofen slowly, cutting up the pills into quarters, 2.5mg per night, get 3-4 hours of okay sleep, and suffer like this for God knows how long. I wish I had just read:

And did it the right way.
